  • Our Fresh inventory remains much the same as lately — Strong with 3 kinds of Halibut, AK, LOCAL, & SoCAL … Salmon = BC ATLANTICS and Premium ‘LOCH DUART’ Atl Sal, & ‘BIG GLORY BAY’ KING SAL from NZ, along with WA STEELHD & ‘LOCH ETIVE’ STEELHD … Cod: good on ROCK & LING & BLACK, with some TRUE COD in da’ mix … Yes on PETRALE, but it may get tight by later in da’ week … MEX’N PINK GROUPER & STRIPED BASS for da’ Basses … SWORDFISH & YELLOWTAIL JACK & AHI (possibly NO more Tombo this week) … SCALLOPS / SHELLFISH / CATFISH FIL / TROUT / a bunch more – you-know-da’-drill …
  • Freezer fulla’ stuff too — such as SPANISH OCTO;  and SQUID (Whole and T&T);  and AHI SAKU BLOCKS & LOINS & POKE CUBES & (Brand NEW): GROUND AHI (for burgers, makes a GREAT Tuna Salad, and even works for Poke I’ve heard); various sizes & specs of SHRIMP/PRAWNS;  and AK COD (same as True Cod).

  • G’morning everyone. Grateful for the uptick in biz from all of our grocers & fish markets. Grateful too for all of the restaurants & caterers who are keeping us in their loop during these times. And many mahalos for how our new Home Delivery Service is being received.
  • A notable absence in our inventory is Bronzini (will we be looking at 5#ers when this thing ends?!). Other than that, it’s pretty easy to list what we do have available … here goes:
  • Local groundfish: ROCK COD & TRUE COD & BLACK COD (more LING COD by Thursday) … PETRALE SOLE & AK HALIBUT (with SoCAL HAL expected in for Thurs). Salmon: Farm’d CANADIAN ATLANTIC & ‘LOCH DUARTs’ & WA STEELHEAD & ‘LOCH ETIVE’ OCEAN TROUT/STEELHD (sorry, out of NZ’s ‘Big Glory Bay’ and ‘OraKing’ until FRIDAY).  Others/Exotics: STRIPED BASS & MEX’N RED GROUPER, TOMBO & AHI (only 2+, NO 2+Small), with YELLOWTAIL JACK & SWORDFISH due in for Thurs, ‘Bristol’s’ DRY-PACK SCALLOPS.  Maybe: CATFISH & TROUT.  Shellfish: MANILA CLAMS & LITTLENEX CLAMS & PEI MUSSELS; Oysters = WA PICKERINGS & BC FANNY BAYS & Local MARIN MIYAGIS.
